We keep getting questions about our design and marketing. Most recently, a woman at a restaurant we were doing a Longmont Restaurant Week floor graphic install for, told our staff that she loved the vegetables in the design. The ambassador that was graciously volunteering to help with our installations then asked Chamber Staff, “Where did you get the vegetables?” The answer: we created them.
The Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce has made some amazing strides towards honing our visual messaging and branding for the organization and the events we produce. I think it is important for our members and community to know that we do all of our design and much of our production work “in-house”. We are a scrappy bunch- a staff of 5 full-time talented individuals- and to me, we live and breathe the “do-it-yourself” (or, in the case of our event and communications director, “design-it-yourself”) mentality that Longmont embodies.
We all have visions and ambitions for how we can continue to grow our community and support business in Longmont, and we have begun to refresh the image of the Longmont Chamber to better promote ourselves as a support structure for business to turn to. A chamber of commerce should be a reflection of the community it represents, and I am honored to work with my staff every day to make that happen and to have fun doing it. Perfect example: check out this video we filmed and produced for Longmont Restaurant Week!
