The Northwest Chamber Alliance adds the Boulder County LGBTQ Chamber to grow the regional business coalition to represent 3,700 businesses and 380,000 employees.
The Northwest Chamber Alliance (NWCA), a coalition of Chambers of Commerce from across Boulder and Broomfield counties, is welcoming the addition of the Boulder County LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce. The coalition now collectively represents approximately 3,700 businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the region and a workforce of approximately 380,000 people.
In addition to the Boulder County LGBTQ Chamber, the NWCA includes the Boulder Chamber, Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Latino Chamber of Boulder County, Louisville Chamber of Commerce, Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce and Superior Chamber of Commerce.
“The LGBTQ Chamber is excited to be joining the Northwest Chamber Alliance. Our businesses continually face regional issues and any opportunity we have to work together makes us all stronger. We love the collaborative dynamic and look forward having a positive impact on the issues that affect us all,” stated Scott Beard, from the Advisory Board of the LGBTQ Chamber.
The Northwest Chamber Alliance focuses on regional issues that impact economic vitality and quality of life throughout the region and coordinates efforts on behalf of businesses in their respective communities. The NWCA has engaged with State and regional leaders from state lobbying visits with Governor Polis and legislators, to engaging the leaders of CDOT and RTD about greater transportation investments for the Northwest region.
“The addition of the LGBTQ Chamber further strengthens our voice and expands our positive impact on behalf of business and community interests in the Northwest region,” explained Longmont Chamber CEO Scott Cook. “So many issues we address are regional in nature, like transportation investments and workforce housing. That is why we look forward to collaborating even more closely with our partner chambers to find solutions to the challenges our member businesses face.”
