August 25 came and went and we still experienced “Unity in the Community.” No, it wasn’t in the way we had expected with a large street festival event full of activities, music and food, but the Chamber staff experienced it and we want to thank our community for that.

Unity Funds the Community Applications Open June 13 – July 14, 2023

Mobile Lab at Unity in the Community
SVVSD Mobile Lab was at Unity in the Community! Student workers ran the lab and provided the community with fun technology based activities. Collin Rickman, the Mobile Lab Coordinator says: “My hope is that students always walk away inspired with a desire and curiosity to learn more”
Chris McGilvray receives “Making a Difference” award
The 2021 “Making a Difference” award recipient is Chris McGilvray. Chris has inspired students across the Longmont community and continues to change their lives. Genevieve Clayton explains that “I would say the single greatest impact he has made on me, and my work, is teaching me the value of community connection”.
