A Box Full of Longmont

November 11, 2020

Get yourself (or your loved one) a little bit of Longmont in a box! These limited edition boxes, containing gifts and goodies purchased from local businesses, are only available through November 18th. Help us celebrate our business community!

Two years ago, the annual Longmont Chamber membership celebration and award ceremony had a little problem: the Plaza Convention Center, home to the gala event for decades, closed. This began an unexpected tradition of completely reinventing the event every year. Between live voting, golden dinosaurs, theatrical entrances, and one dazzling red sequin gown, Jubilee has managed to find creative ways to recognize business excellence.

This year, though exceptional in many ways, is no exception to this new tradition. There will be no gala or live show, and no need to venture out on December 3rd to celebrate business. Instead, we want you to take the celebration home with you.

Thanks to the amazing support of our sponsors, we are able to fit more than a dozen local businesses into one gift box. Granted, it’s a pretty big box. For $100, box purchasers have everything they need and more to have their own Jubilee at home while watching our virtual award program.

Boxes include a $50 gift card to one of four local restaurants, a gift card for drinks at Wyatt’s Wet Goods, and more. We don’t want to give too much away about what’s in the box as anyone who attended Jubilee last year will know, we love a good surprise. Here’s a little teaser:

  • Boxes cost $100, but are valued at over $150
  • Most items are consumable, perfect for anyone who is currently Marie Kondo-ing their life!
  • All items will spark joy 🙂
  • Everything in the box is purchased from a local business

Boxes are available for purchase now and can be picked up or delivered between December 1st and 3rd,  just in time for the awards show the evening of the 3rd. You can learn more information about the event and order your box from our Jubilee event page.

This event reinvention is a massive experiment for us, but we are so happy with the response we’ve seen from businesses and individuals. We hope that you love your box as much as we do, and thank you so much for your support of local business!
